PROCHEM S.A. winner of the award „ Pearls of the Polish Economy of 2009

On 19 November 2009 Gala of Winners of the VII edition of the ranking „Pearls of the Polish Economy” was held in a Royal Castle in Warsaw. Awards were granted in two categories: companies about the income above 1 billion zloty (Large Pearls) and companies about the income of 100 million – 1 billion zloty (Big Pearls).

The ranking was drawn up according to methodology by Prof. Jan Macieja from the Institute of Economic Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In order to be on a ranking list the company had to meet at least 7 criteria of effectiveness (among others profitability of the trading, general debt level, rate of return on assets and on invested capital, work output, etc.), and company’s income from the entire activity in 2008 had to amount to at least 100 million zloty. Nicely for us to announce that amongst companies from the category “Big Pearls” was also our company which met these criteria very much requiring.
