Ceremony of placing the corner stone in Goświnowice

The investor is Biotanol SA, a Warsaw-based company established by Polskie Młyny SA along with BioFuels and Chemicals, Svensk Etanolkemi AB. The installation will be built based on the licence granted by the global leader in fuel ethanol production technology – the US company Katzen International. Obtained license ensures production of high quality ethanol, suitable also as vehicle fuel.
The investment is first of the kind in Poland (there are few plants licensed by Katzen in Europe). The ceremony was attended by fine personalities. The corner stone act was signed by Jolanta Barska – Mayor of Nysa, Piotr Komorowski – President of Biotanol, Adam Tański and Jan Lindstedt – representatives of companys’ co-owners, Marek Garliński – President of Prochem, the construction manager – Tadeusz Chmielewski and parish priest of Parafia Nawiedzenia NMP – o. Andrzej Gołaszewski.
The capacity of the production plant will equal 110 thousand tonnes of fuel ethanol per year, the plant will hire approximately 60 people.
