The opening ceremony of the production plant UTC Aerospace Systems

On 25 October 2012. the opening ceremony of the production plant UTC Aerospace Systems in Tajęcina near Rzeszów designed and built by Prochem held.

 

 

The plant will mainly produce chassis and motors for Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, Gulfstream and Bombardier, to large airliners and military aircrafts.

Many distinguished guests both Polish and foreign attended the opening ceremony of the plant. The Polish side was represented by Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk and local authorities, the heads of the “Aviation Valley” and the auxiliary bishop of the diocese of Rzeszów Edward Białogłowski. From the UTC Aerospace System ceremony was attended by the most important presidents of the company and Director of Goodrich Aerospace Poland Jan Sawicki. Of course, were also directors, management and staff of the facility in Tajęcina with Director Sylwester Kozioł at the head.
In short speeches invited guests were repeated words of appreciation for the investor for the construction of such a great production plant, using the world’s most modern production technology. Emphasized the importance of the plant to the region and the country. The appearance and equipment of the production hall were admired.

PROCHEM S.A. also has been noticed. From the hands of the President of Landing Gear Aircraft System – Mr. Dave Castagnola we were awarded „Contractor of the Year 2012” in recognition of the cooperation, support and professional execution of the construction of the production plant in Tajęcina near Rzeszów.
A few days before the official opening of the plant the first complete chassis to Boeing was produced, which was soon to be sent to the Boeing plant in the USA.
