Start of production at Polimery Police

Grupa Azoty Polyolefins S.A., as part of the investment – covering the Polimery Police chemical complex, launched the production of polypropylene. The new installation of the land part, based on advanced and modern technologies, was implemented based on the building permit designs prepared by PROCHEM S.A.

Polimery Police are of key importance for Polish industry, increasing domestic production capacity in the plastics sector and reducing the trade deficit. Construction of the complex, carried out in the "design and build" formula in cooperation with the Korean partner Hyundai Engineering Co. Ltd., is expected to be completed in the second half of 2023.

PROCHEM S.A. carried out the building project designs for Hyundai Engineering – in less than a year, PROCHEM designers provided consultations to HEC designers, verified their documentation, making complete the building project designs, while adapting them to the law in force in Poland, translated them into Polish, and have been authorized. The building permit designs were submitted in 12 sets covering a total area of approximately 37 hectares.
