\nOn 20 June 2007 in Go\u015bwinowice near Nysa there was a ceremony of placing the corner stone for the realization of Ethanol Production Plant. Prochem SA is performing the function of General Contractor for the Investment.<\/p>\n

The investor is Biotanol SA, a Warsaw-based company established by Polskie M\u0142yny SA along with BioFuels and Chemicals, Svensk Etanolkemi AB. The installation will be built based on the licence granted by the global leader in fuel ethanol production technology \u2013 the US company Katzen International. Obtained license ensures production of high quality ethanol, suitable also as vehicle fuel.<\/p>\n

The investment is first of the kind in Poland (there are few plants licensed by Katzen in Europe). The ceremony was attended by fine personalities. The corner stone act was signed by Jolanta Barska \u2013 Mayor of Nysa, Piotr Komorowski \u2013 President of Biotanol, Adam Ta\u0144ski and Jan Lindstedt \u2013 representatives of companys\u2019 co-owners, Marek Garli\u0144ski \u2013 President of Prochem, the construction manager \u2013 Tadeusz Chmielewski and parish priest of Parafia Nawiedzenia NMP \u2013 o. Andrzej Go\u0142aszewski.<\/p>\n

The capacity of the production plant will equal 110 thousand tonnes of fuel ethanol per year, the plant will hire approximately 60 people.
