PROCHEM S.A. is a partner in the European project BIM4EEB – a program supporting BIM functionality in the process of building renovation.<\/p>\n

The overall aim of BIM4EEB is to propose methods and tools to overcome current barriers appearing at various stages of the renovation process (inspection of the existing condition, undertaking decision on the necessity of renovation, designing of changes, building and maintenance of the facility), preparing of guidelines for BIM implementation, as well as ensuring easy and practical operating platform being the central information base (CDE).<\/p>\n

\u2013 The task of the project is to create such an environment that will effectively use the flow of information between the parties involved in the process of building renovation, which will contribute to shorten the time of making the necessary decisions<\/em> \u2013 emphasized Jaros\u0142aw St\u0119pniewski, President of the Management Board of PROCHEM S.A.<\/p>\n

The final effect of the BIM4EEB project is to raise the quality and comfort of living of the residents of the facilities being modernized and to ensure the reduction of the cost of building maintenance. \u2013 The challenge for PROCHEM as a participant in this program is to develop effective and reliable methods and tools for prompt inventory of the object to the 3D model and to integrate it with semantic data going beyond geometrical information. PROCHEM from the beginning of its activity set trends in the development of design tools. We are proud that as being one of the most modern engineering companies in the country, we can co-create innovative design solutions in Europe<\/em> \u2013 says Marek Kiersznicki, Vice President of PROCHEM S.A.<\/p>\n

The BIM4EEB project is coordinated by the Polytechnic University of Milan in cooperation with Fondazione Politecnico di Milano. Apart from the company PROCHEM partners are two engineering companies (CAVERION, CGI Sverige), universities (Polytechnic University of Milan, University College Cork, Technical University of Dresden), research institutes (VTT, RISE), public administrators (Lombardy Rergion, ALER VCBM), companies (SOLITEL, SUIT5, OneTeam, VisualLink) and the cooperating unit (Architects Council of Europe).<\/p>\n

The project is financed by the European Union under the Horizon 2020 program and will last for 42 months, from January 1, 2019 to June 30, 2022<\/p>\n
